Hey friends & fam —
My midlife creative crisis is now streaming! I quietly dropped four songs last night — no promo plan, no hype. Just me pressing upload and immediately questioning everything.
I wrote, played, and produced everything myself in my little home studio. Drums were tracked with just two mics — one in the kick, one in the room.
The tunes are all instrumental — moody, groovy, spacey little jams with noisy guitars and odd time signatures. The kind of sounds you make when no one’s supervising. Kind of a sonic Frankenstein stitched together from Nine Inch Nails, Beck, and Billie Eilish – I expect at least a few scrunched faces.
This one’s for me but wanted to share it with you all anyway. If you’re into weird, you might be into this.

Huge thanks to:
🎨 JP Downer for the artwork — I gave him the prompt “the world is burning around me but I’m happy in my cave making music” and he nailed it.
🎥 Clare (my amazing wife) for all the stellar photography.
🎚️ Lewis Richards at 17th Street Studios for the final mix and master.
Thanks for listening!
Much love,
Scott
